Ami Yoshida

Born in Nagoya in 1976. Yoshida is active on the Japan and international improvised music scenes with her unique vocal performance method, the "howling voice." In 2003 she won the Golden Nica award in the Digital Musics category at Ars Electronica with the CD astro twin + cosmos (F.M.N. Sound Factory). In recent years Yoshida has been pursuing a literary career as well. In 2007 she published Summer Spring (Ota Publishing).
