Born in Tokyo on February 10, 1956. A multi-instrumentalist with a focus on keyboards, Shimizu plays piano, marimba, clarinet, sax, steelpan and more. Since the '80s he has performed in a variety of bands. He also backs up numerous J-Pop musicians.
