stilllife, the sound art project by field recording artists Takashi Tsuda and Hiroki Sasajima, plays intimation and tranquility. The unique playing style, with its deep immersion in environmental sounds, brings a deep calm and expansion of consciousness to those sharing the space. From 2014 to 2015 they played and recorded music outdoors as if in answer to the whisperings of of each place. These sound sources are arranged like an island chain in the single one-hour track of archipelago.
